Seemway tends toward texturally and energetically dynamic pop songs. These are songs not not indebted to the lineages of psychedelia, garage, krautrock, and electronic, but songs mostly in service to the initial and oftentimes accidental improvisations which birthed them. Every song has evolved through dozens of iterations, iterations we've played and unplayed across practice spaces, houses and venues.
MRCH tells stories, complemented by driving beats, poppy hooks, and feisty rock riffs. "With a big, squashy, glitter-glam beat and ice queen crooning, this Tempe, AZ-based band take a Goldfrapp groove out of the glare of the disco ball and into a corner booth for a devious discussion. MRCH is pronounced like the beat here, a march the drives the simple synth lines into what sounds like, after less than a year together in the current lineup, a fairly sure bet for cool things to come." - Eric Davidson, CMJ
