PSDSP
Physical Suicide Deterrent System Project (PSDSP) is an avant-grunge band from the SF Bay area. PSDSP combines heavy riffs, melodious, spacey vocals, surprising lyrics, and virtuosic musicianship for a sound that picks up where Soundgarden left off, taking more where Alice Coltrane was headed. Lead singer and guitarist Eli Carlton-Pearson first conceived of the band after reading the comically verbose official title of the Golden Gate Bridge's suicide barrier. Well aware that music had provided him and many others with a reason to live in otherwise hopeless times, he decided to name his band after the barrier, in a move that was both tongue in cheek and dead serious. Joined by Brian Wilkerson on bass and Michael Pinkham on drums, PSDSP has become a cult favorite in their native Fairfax, and continues to surprise audiences everywhere with a well rehearsed yet improvisational approach to heavy rock and roll.
Barnyard Hammer
Barnyard Hammer plays a truly original style of music that moves from heavy and high energy to somber and stripped down. Some call it analog rock n' roll, some call it indie blues, some call it.........well, go see for yourself and come to your own conclusions. That's what this music is about.
Lacey Rawlins
Coming up as a young guitarist Lacey Rawlins fell fast and hard for the sounds of Southern and Chicago style blues. While his hands couldn't always keep up, he could feel in his heart the bends, whines, and wails of guitar heroes like Johnny Shines, Luther Allison, and of course, the Three Kings. Years later, having committed himself entirely to his playing, He took an extended hiatus from live performing to fine tune his chops and learn his instrument inside and out. Now, as ready as ever, and bursting with renewed energy and skill, he is pleased to be taking to the stage once more.
