Skank Bank
Skank Bank is an American reggae fusion band from the San Francisco Bay Area, California, formed in 2013. The diverse collective of musicians is led by California born guitarist/singer Gabriel Winter. The band has an eclectic sound that fuses roots reggae/ska with elements of jazz, funk, and rock―known for their heady psychedelic dub jams and breakdowns. Ranging from a quartet to a nonet, the group has had more than 20 members with the only consistent bandmates of Winter's being trumpet player Liam King, trombone player Adam Miller, and co-founding bassist Jiggly Streich.
Pistachio solidified a sound built from rich harmonies, funky rhythms, and improvisation. By the end of 2014, the band set to work capturing this period on what would become their first release, Tehuantepec. Described as, “a soundtrack for those breezy days and warm afternoons," Tehuantepec laid the foundation for the band to begin a full-time touring schedule and dig deeper into the sound they had discovered.
The Altons
The Altons are a soul rock group with a twist of Latin inspired flavors and rhythms. Their music is driven by intense grooves from the rhythm section that will bring you to your feet, while soulful leads inspire lovers to dance a little closer. Based in Los Angeles, membersGabriel Maldonado, Carlos Canovas, Bryan Ponce, Joseph Quinones, and Adriana Flores came together from disparate musical backgrounds to bring The Altons unified energetic sound to audiences everywhere.
