This event is 21 and over

Are we moving? Each moment inevitably becomes a relic of the past. The future appears as a destination within an infinite number of halfway points we may never reach. Will we ever experience time existing in it’s true form? We may discover at any moment, the future and past caving in on itself. All at once. Leaving in it’s wake an inexplicable reality where one is confronted with his future former self. In CHAPPO’s world, the concept of time is twisted hopelessly out of focus. Like Rene, the main character in CHAPPO’s new concept album Future Former Self, the band seems to have recently traveled back from a distant black hole, bringing with them a kaleidoscope of new and mesmerizing sounds. CHAPPO was born in the East Village of New York in 2009 and in a few short years has created an enthusiastic and rambunctious following. Splitting the difference between the guitar driven psychedelia of 60’s west coast rock and spiritual witch doctor moonshine of Dr John, they regularly turn their live show into nothing short of spectacle. After releasing a pair of EP’s Plastique Universe and Plastique Universe II: Pisces Princess in 2010 and 2011, they signed with Majordomo records to release their full length debut Moonwater in 2012. CHAPPO will be releasing their second LP, Future Former Self, on their own Rouse Records, due out Spring 2014.
Sunrunners is a San Francisco-based quintet led by singer / songwriter Stephen Loase. Since releasing their first self-titled album in 2014 the band has been making a name for themselves with high-energy live shows at popular Bay Area venues like Great American Music Hall, Rickshaw Stop, Slim's, Bottom of the Hill, Elbo Room and more. A combination of haunting piano licks, ethereal guitar and synth riffs, pounding bass lines all backed by a thunderous drumset, you can catch them on Spotify, Soundcloud and, if you're lucky, Live 105's Soundcheck Show w/ Aaron Axelson (w/ single "Stars and Colors"). Their song "Save Everyone" was also featured in a promo for "The Voice" in 2016. The band is headed into the studio later this year to work on their next album, and they can't freaking wait to share it with you all.
The Trims
Founded in 2009 by frontman Gabe Maciel, the indie/alt/rock band known as The Trims consists of Gabe Maciel, Bryan Aguirre, Billy Brady, and David Ovlite. On Aug. 26, 2014 The Trims self-released their highly anticipated fifth album, Vida. Their first single, "Now You're Gone", hit the airwaves in early 2014 and was on steady rotation on alternative radio 105.3's Sound Check for over a year with 105.3's DJ Aaron Axelson calling "Now You're Gone" one of 2014's best songs. Vida is the band's fifth release in four years and marks the commercial success of Delete You After (2014) with the ambition of their early releases Bright Lights City (2012), Cut To Fit (2011) and We Cried For Fun (2011).The band continues to grow selling out venues in and around the SF Bay Area and are becoming music festival staples playing Live 105.3's BFD Festival, Napa's Bottle Rock Festival, Austin's SXSW Festival and Sillicon Valley's C2SV Festival just to name a few.The band is currently writing and recording their sixth album with plans on a early 2016 release.
