M.Sayyid is a lyricist, producer, visual artist and a founding member of The New York based Alternative hip hop group Antipop Consortium. He is featured on the MF Doom album Viktor Vaughn: Vaudeville Villan (2003) on the song Never Dead. His group projects (Antipop Consortium, Airborn Audio) have released music over the years on prominent record labels like 75Ark, Ninja Tune, Warp Records, Big Dada and Thirsty Ear. M.Sayyid has toured with musical giants during his career, such as Radiohead, DJ Shadow, Bright Eyes, and Public Enemy, to name a few. In 2013, he moved Paris after the completion of the APC Flouresent Black Tour. In December 2016, he released his solo mixtape entitled Error Tape 1 via Handsmade Collective label, out of Oakland, CA. He has since release Error Tape 2 in 2024 via Handmade Collective as well.
