A community-oriented band described by Psychedelic Scene as the “originators” of “psychedelic-cabaret-dream-pop-punk,”- continues to shine with the members’ individual talents: Drummer Sean Aaron and collaborating drummer William Stokes and guitarist Spencer Lay spring out with intricate rhythms and melodies, joining the orchestral swell of Alejandro Lara-Agraz on bass, Eva Gogas contributing vocals, Jack Lillian mixing in flute, guest bass and vocals, and Stokes’ lead vocal slashing through with equal parts power and delicate sadness.

Slugfeast is a 3 piece noise rock band from Sacramento and the bay area, seeking to combine sensitive lyrical storytelling with hard-hitting riffs and sludgy, jagged texture. The music of Slugfeast is deeply convicted and rooted in our own experience dealing with themes of grief, love, and mania. The guitar playing of Alejandro Magallàn will have you shedding a tear before ripping your face off, while Claire Tauber's vocals and bass playing hit you right in the heart. The drumming of Lucas Wieser ties it all together, projecting a visceral, forceful and fundamental energy. Slugfeast is for the self.
